The Garden Room
A quiet room on the garden side, with a door straight out to the lemon trees and a table where breakfast is served when it is warm.
The Garden Room is the only room on the ground floor, and the only one with its own door to the garden. The lemon trees were planted by the family who built the house in 1791, and in spring the whole room smells of them.
On warm mornings we set breakfast on the table outside your door. The walls are almost a metre thick, so the room stays cool all through August.
